Summer Glow Guide: Essential Skincare for Women Over 40

Summer is upon us and I hope you're as excited as I am! I love just about everything about summer, most of all the abundance of sun, warmth and light. Although this summer in particular is coming in a little hot even for me! :)

 

In terms of beauty, this season is all about embracing minimal makeup and letting your natural beauty shine. As we spend more time outdoors, wearing less clothing, our skincare- and our self-love- becomes even more crucial.⁠

Wise women over 40 (such as myself!) know that while we adore that summer glow, our skin requires some extra pampering during this time of year.⁠

Exposure to the sun, heat, and dryness can cause or worsen skin problems, but with the right care, we can help our skin stay radiant and healthy throughout the season.⁠

Why It's Essential: Protecting your skin against the sun’s UVA and UVB rays is critical in preventing sun damage, dryness and excess loss of elasticity.


Product Tip: Choose a sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher. Mineral sunscreens with zinc oxide or titanium dioxide are better for your skin, body and the planet.


How to Use: Every morning, apply liberally to your face, neck, and any exposed skin. Reapply every two hours when outdoors.
